Invitational Teams

GUIDELINES FOR THE DEFINITION OF AN OFFICIAL MATCH
Any match played by the Temple Fortune Football Club will count as official for the purposes of Club records, UNLESS

a) the overall duration is less than sixty (60) minutes;

b) the number of players per team is less than seven (7);

c) the game is played on an unmarked or undersized pitch, or on an unnatural or irregular playing surface;

d) goal posts are not provided;

e) the identity of the team is unrepresentative of the Club in any respect, including players and playing kit;

f) there is evidence of any blatant disregard or misinterpretation of the Laws of the Game by the opposition or match official, for any reason, which affects the result; or

g) there is evidence of any other relevant factor which contravenes the Laws of the Game as defined by the International Football Association Board.


CRITERIA TO DETERMINE THE STATUS OF TF INVITATION TEAMS
The Club may arrange, from time to time, TF Invitational teams to play against the First Team, Second Team or Old Boys Team for the purpose of the Founders' Shield, Jack Kyte Challenge Cup or friendly matches. The status of such teams will be determined by name only for the purpose of Club records, as follows.

TF Founders' XI – a team sanctioned by the Club's Founders, or arranged on behalf of the Founders, that contains a higher percentage of TF players (a minimum of 6 out of 11 players, or 7 out of 12 or 13 players, or 8 out of 14 or 15 players). If an intended TF Founders' XI contains fewer TF players than above, it will be classified as a TF Select XI.

TF Select XI – a team not sanctioned by the Club's Founders that contains a higher percentage of TF players (a minimum of 6 out of 11 players, or 7 out of 12 or 13 players, or 8 out of 14 or 15 players)

TF Guest XI – a team not sanctioned by the Club's Founders that contains a lower percentage of TF players (a maximum of 5 out of 11 players, or 6 out of 12 or 13 players, or 7 out of 14 or 15 players)

Appearances and goals scored whilst representing a TF Invitational team will not be recorded in the Club records.
