goalscoringcriteria

Criteria for deciding first place for the Leading Goalscorer's Award
1. For any of the Club's goalscoring awards, goals scored in league, cup and friendly matches all count.
2. Where there is a tie at the end of the season, the following criteria will be used, in the order given, to determine the award winner:
i) Higher number of goals scored in competitive matches, meaning league and cup fixtures played by the appropriate team. This excludes non-affiliated competitions such as the Bethune Park Anniversary Trophy, the TFFC Inter-Club Founders' Shield, the Jack Kyte Challenge Cup and the Ralph Epstein Memorial Trophy;
ii) Lower number of starting appearances made in competitive matches only;
iii) Lower number of substitute appearances made in competitive matches only;
3. In the event that the above criteria fails to separate the players involved, then the goalscoring award will be shared.
4. Where a goalscoring award is shared, both names will appear on the perpetual trophy and both players will receive identical awards.
